NAMIBIA'S first independent presidential candidate, Panduleni Itula, says the struggle for social justice that pushed him to contest for the country's highest position will not die despite losing the bid to have last year's presidential election be set aside and rerun.
Itula said he would continue fighting for the rights of the underprivileged by holding the government to account as long as Namibians want him to. Itula made these remarks yesterday shortly after hearing the judgement in the case in which he challenged the legitimacy of last year's presidential election.
