Lost tourist survives night in Erongo wilderness

A CHINESE tourist to Namibia survived a night in the Erongo wilderness after getting lost there on Sunday.

Yin Cecilia Liang and fellow tourists staying at the Ameib guest house, about 15 km out of Usakos, left for the surrounding area early on Sunday morning on a photography expedition. While there, she allegedly left the others in order to take photos from another angle, but did not return. The farm owner, workers and community members united in looking for Yin, and she was only found early yesterday morning, Erongo crime investigations coordinator Erastus Iikuyu said.
