THE death of cyclist Elroy Beukes is an indication of how unsafe Namibian roads are for cyclists, managing director of Impact Sport Communication Ben Haidula said yesterday.
Beukes died after he was hit by a vehicle while cycling in the Costa Seibeb memorial ride on the Western Bypass on Sunday morning. Although he did not take part in the full event, Beukes had joined fellow cyclists in the memorial ride, which was organised by Impact Sport Communication.
