A businessman from Swakopmund lost over N$2 million on Sunday after robbers broke into his house and fled with money and a number of expensive items.
The suspects took US$100 000 (about N$1 400 000) in cash and items worth N$982 500 in total.
The stolen items include 24 ladies gold watches, two laptops, a pistol, an IPhone 6, cameras and jewellery.
Police detective chief inspector Erastus IIkuyu told Nampa on Monday that the money and items belong to Jaco Martinesen, who owns Namib's Roos Transport.
The thieves allegedly forced open the bathroom window to gain entry into the house, where they found the safe keys in a cupboard.
