DRC residents are urged to cooperate

The Mayor of Swakopmund at a council meeting urged members of the Democratic Resettlement Community (DRC) to cooperate during major land service construction at the open area in front of the DRC to take place this month.
Children in particular are requested to stay away from these areas, as construction and blasting is to take place. Residents that are required to move will be notified in advance.
The Honourable Pauline Nashilondo concluded the following: ‘’Major construction is taking place in front of DRC for the serving of land, we request that resident should keep themselves safe by staying away from the areas of where construction is taking place.’’
