The B2 traffic circle at the entrance of Swakopmund is expected to be completed by this week. This was announced by the Mayor of Swakopmund at a council meeting last week Thursday.
The circle will prevent traffic congestion into town as well as suburbs such as Mondesa, Tamariskia, Ocean View and Mile 4.
The council also announced plans to tar the road from the Ocean View traffic circle at the Shell service station eastward through Tamariskia, Tulinawa and the DRC, linking the traffic circle to the B2 road.
The Honourable Pauline Nashilondo concluded the following: ‘’The upgrade of the road infrastructure remains a priority on the council agenda, I wish to request for the community members to be patient.’’
