SWK stakeholders agrees with Youth Development Action Plan

Swakopmund stakeholders yesterday at a briefing held in Swakopmund agreed upon a youth development action plan as proposed by the Municipality.

The plan grants the local youth a platform for growth, active participation in development programmes, decision making, social and cultural wellbeing, education and skills training.

The development policy and strategy was launched by the Minister of youth, national services, sports and culture earlier this year in order to address challenges faced by the youth.

The plan is to be implemented as soon as a steering committee has been appointed.
