Shiimi summoned over Kora millions

Namibian businessman Tonata Shiimi is one of the defendants in the Namibia Tourism Board's attempt to recover over N$23,5 million meant for promoting the country as a tourist destination during the failed Kora All Africa Music Awards.

Tourism minister Pohamba Shifeta yesterday told The Namibian that Ernst Adjovi is the first defendant, his company Mundial SARL Telecoms the second defendant and Shiimi the third defendant.

NTB chief executive officer Digu //Naobeb confirmed that Shiimi is a defendant in the matter, and that the parties through their lawyers had a case management hearing on Thursday last week.
