A day of mourning is being observed in Cameroon following Friday's train accident that killed more than 70 people, a report says.

According to BBC, flags were flying at half-mast throughout the country on Monday.

Reports over the weekend indicated that the train, travelling from the capital Yaounde to the economic hub Douala, was crammed with people due to road traffic disruption between the two cities when the accident happened.
