A security guard on Friday disappeared with more than N$50 000 at Swakopmund.
The money, which he was supposed to deposit at a bank along with a colleague, was collected from several companies in Swakopmund. Detective Chief Inspector Erastus Iikuyu of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) on Saturday said the incident occurred between 09h00 and 13h00 at the Bank Windhoek branch in the coastal town. The 30-year-old suspect was supposed to deposit the N$52 712 while his co-worker, the driver, waited for him in the car.
