Two arrested for container theft

Two daring men were arrested at Walvis Bay last week after they allegedly stole a container full of timber valued at N$1,6 million.
The two – a Chinese and a Zimbabwean - claimed they were clearing agents when they took the container which was being transported from the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday.
Police spokesperson chief inspector Kauna Shikwambi confirmed the arrests, saying the incident happened at the Walvis Bay weighbridge.
