The Namibia National Teachers Union yesterday said it will engage government by tomorrow on the ground rules regarding the impending strike action after 95% of their members voted for industrial action.
Teachers are demanding an 8% salary increase, but government rejected this and offered them 5%, saying it cannot afford the huge salary bill this year, but would only give teachers a 7% salary adjustment next year.
