New Zealand 'blade runner' Liam Malone has smashed another Paralympic record set previously by Oscar Pistorius in winning his second gold medal at the Rio Paralympics.
According to the Stuff website, Malone's winning time of 46.20 in the final of the men's 400m T44 was just 0.11 outside New Zealand's able-bodied record, as he secured his third medal in his debut at the Games.
