Govt freezes new tenders

The finance ministry has directed government institutions to suspend the issuing of all new state contracts until the national budget is reviewed later this year.
The directive was made on 12 September 2016 by finance minister Calle Schlettwein in a letter titled “Freezing of awards of new tender contracts and feasibility studies/surveys”.
