Desalination plantthe way to go - Mutorwa

The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, yesterday at a meeting with local authorities in Swakopmund says the only permanent solution to the Erongo Region's water problems is a desalination plant. The issue of such a plant has been on the table for years but has been postponed due to the costs involved. Honourable John Mutorwa concluded the following: ‘’Because of all the recognitions government must do whatever it takes to ensure that all this industries and activities must go asunder because of lack of water.’’
