Crane crushes 3 vehicles at Walvis

Three vehicles were crushed yesterday when the boom of a 200-tonne crane from the Walvis Bay Plant and Tool Hire Services tipped over and crashed down on the public parking area in front of the Walvis Bay Civic Centre. A woman, who was in one of the vehicles at the time when the boom crashed down, was treated for shock at a Walvis Bay hospital. The boom allegedly smashed down onto the bonnet of her 4x4 vehicle.
