The Namibia Airports Company said it will defend its decision to award a N$30 million contract to a British firm to run the lounge at Namibia's international airport. Businessman Tonata Shiimi dragged the NAC to the High Court in July this year after the parastatal issued a tender to run the Hosea Kutako International Airport's business lounge to Menzies Aviation, a British company which specialises in passenger and cargo handling services.
