Public toilets were one of the main issues discussed at the conference of the tourism growth and development in Swakopmund, last week Thursday. The conference was led by the Municipality and focused on the Swakopmund tourism development and strategic plan that was launched earlier this year. Tourism industries are regarded worldwide as an economic contributor to a country; as such the Tourism businesses raised their concerns and shared ideas on how Swakopmund can become a leading destination for holiday tourist as it offers a range of unique and diverse attractions, facilities and activities. Currently Swakopmund has 3 public toilets in town; the council is planning for more toilets and urge the community members to stop vandalising the toilets as they belong to all people in Swakopmund.
