Swakop Youth Development Policy Launched

This Minister of Sports, Youth and National Services, Jerry Ekandjo together with The Swakopmund Municipality launched the Youth Development Policy on Thursday last week. The objective of this policy is to promote youth participation in economic, civic and community matters and to ensure that these programmes are all centered around and on the youth. According to the minister, ‘’The policy aims to fill the existing youth development policy and practice gaps. On behalf of the government it is our mandate to develop and empower the youth through the capacity of building to become productive and self –reliant citizens.’’
