Cinema attack - suspect dead

Reports say an armed man who barricaded himself inside a cinema complex in western Germany is dead.

There is no indication yet how he died.

Up to 30 people were wounded in the attack in Viernheim, south of Frankfurt.

It appeared the man might be holding hostages and armed police had surrounded the building according to the BBC.
