More car accident victims identified

POLICE yesterday released the identities of other people killed in Sunday’s car crash between Usakos and Arandis.

They were identified as Olavi Shiyoleni Asser (40), Diana Tjavaua (17), Maria Beulah Haoses (55) and Uutoni Ndegathitwa Petrus (24). However, a 51−year−old man cannot be named as his next of kin has not been notified. Police spokesperson deputy commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi said two other people died on the same day in a separate car accident, about five killometres from the first accident. The two died when the car they were travelling in overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle. These victims were identified as Cornelia Olivier (34) and Alicia Indileni Mpuka (5).
