President Hage Geingob yesterday told delegates to the 6th annual general meeting of heads of anti−corruption agencies in Commonwealth Africa being held in Swakopmund that corruption has no place in Namibia, and that all should unite to root it out.

He admitted that while Namibia and other African nations had shown progress in development, corruption remained a social deficit which needed a united approach to address.

The President concluded the following: ‘’We shouldn’t only think that Africa is corrupt, good things has happened. We have made progress and we seat together and talk about corruption and this is serious.’’
