Erongo RED awards bursary

Erongo Red last week awarded a bursary to Ali Mbonga who will persue a bachelor degree in Power Engineering at the Namibia University of Science and Technology.

The bursary is valued at N$80 000 and is the seventh awarded by the electricity provider. Mbonga is a first year student at the Namibia University of Science and Technology in Windhoek. The bursary will cover tuition fees, materials and transport.

Robert Kahimise the CEO of Erongo Red concluded the following: ‘’The government ,with limited resources can only achieve so much, and regularly relies on the support of the private and other sectors in the process of attaining its goals. It is for this reason that Erongo red in its strides to meet the government half way.’’
