Walter Kurz, Chief Investigator of the Anti-Corruption Commission today said that bribing has become a real issue at NATIS in the Erongo Region. He was briefing the media in Swakopmund.
He said that since January this year a total of 7 cases of attempted bribery have been reported.
The issue of corruption is reaching endemic proportions with cases constantly being postponed by the Ministry of Justice and Defence.
Honorable Regional Governor of the Erongo Region, Cleophas Mutjavikua concluded the following: "Big fish remains still a matter of concern and now we are seeing ACC is doing something and many cases are taken to court and that is a sign that ACC is progressing."
