South Africans are forgiving - Dlodlo on Nkandla judgment

The Constitutional Court's Nkandla judgment might affect how people feel about the ANC, but South Africans are forgiving, ANC national executive committee member Ayanda Dlodlo said on Friday.

"The ConCourt might have an effect on people's morale and how they view the ANC, but I think with time some of them will taper off as we talk to people on the ground," she told reporters at a luncheon with Nelson Mandela Bay metro Mayor Danny Jordaan in Port Elizabeth.

She said ANC officials had been visiting branches and people across the country to address the matter ahead of the local government elections on August 3.
