With time change being a concern in Namibia, the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration requested input regarding time change in Namibia. This resulted in the Office of the Constituency calling a consultative meeting last week in Swakopmund.
The Namibian time act has been approved since 1994 and there have been views expressed for and against the time change .
It is not yet clear whether time will change or not this year. The constituency councillor of Swakopmund concluded the following: "People should change their mindset when it comes to these things, is just a matter of adapting to the new time".
