The purpose is to focus on the health effects of exposure to dust, radiation and other substances on workers at the mine. The research to be carried out is a scientific study to determine if there are any health implications on workers at the mine. The study will include 12 000 former and current employees who started work between 1976 and 2010 and is expected to be completed in April 2018.
