Henties bay residents clean up their town

More than 50 residents of Henties Bay joined their newly elected Mayor for a cleaning campaign last week Saturday in Henties bay.

With limited staff from the municipality, the town was overcrowded with dirt. The main objective of the cleaning campaign is to educate the residents of Henties Bay about hygiene and for them to try and change their mindsets with regards to living in a healthy and clean environment.

The newly elected Mayor of Henties Bay Herman Honeb concluded the following:

‘’When I got into the office of the mayor this was the critical issue that I have realised, is not only the business people of our town that causes litter. We should start changing the mindset of our people.
