Erongo Red electrifying the Erongo region

"The Rural Electrification Project is in the pipeline", said the chief executive officer of Erongo Red last week Friday at a media briefing in Walvis Bay.

Since the existence of Erongo Red they have electrified 111 houses in Otjimbingwe and 52 houses in Usakos worth N$ 3.6 million.

The CEO of Erongo Red Robert Kahimise concluded the following: ‘’One interesting statistic in terms of rural connections we cannot ignore that fellow Namibians that reside in rural areas are crying for electricity, at least there must be a connection and it is up to the consumer whether they want to connect or not.’’
