Labour relation market mistreated.

New Unions that are entering labour relation markets are using tactics to outsmart established unions and this is one of the biggest challenges. This was said at the recent wage agreement between NUN and Swakop Uranium.

The governor of the Erongo Region Cleophas Mutjavikua concluded the following:

’Current membership of the unions are not natured in the trade union ideology, they remain in the union for benefits. Workers are movi

ng from one union to another, because they are not educated and we don’t have workers education departments in our trade unions, to keep the ideology up and running within the union movement.’’
