Swakopmund - The Annual Visual Arts Museum Program of Namibia is hosting its first ever travelling exhibition of photography in Namibia at COSDEF Arts and Craft Centre in Swakopmund.

With 'Representing Photography in Namibia' as the theme, the exhibition shows shots from where photography started in Namibia to where it is today.

Work from well known photographers in Namibia can be viewed till the end of February.

Ndenta Shivute from the Namibia Arts Gallery concluded the following:

"AVAMP aims to educate and promote the arts. We are hoping to get a lot of students and young people to get them to know more about photography as an art and for them to become inspired."
