Community members raise their concern on poverty.

The newly established Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare had a consultative meeting with the community members of the Erongo Region on the 28 September in Swakopmund.

Community members had the privilege to raise their concerns and ways in which poverty can be eradicated. Among the public the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare Aino Kapewangolo was also present.

‘’The Ministry needs to collect information and also solutions from the public as they are the people experiencing poverty, we were discussing social safety network on how to eradicate poverty .We talk about skills development and how the community feel the wealth has been distributed’’ said the special advisor to the governor Bobby Kandjala.
