Nationhood and National Pride regional forum to be established.

The Nationhood and National Pride (NNP) had a two day workshop with stakeholders in Henties Bay from the 14th -15th September.

The main objective is to establish the Erongo Region committee of Nationhood and National Pride. The Government through the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology developed the NNP campaign program as a vehicle to support and sustain the Namibian citizenship and to motivate individuals through collective consciousness of their duties, commitments, obligations and responsibility to the nation and to each other as fellow Namibian citizens.

The vision is that Namibia remains a thriving, caring, dignified and unified nation.

‘’This workshop is of great importance as it aims at establishing a regional forum on the Nationhood and National pride which will work in coordination with all government agencies as well as NGOs in the region to promote unity amongst all Namibians.

These forums will strengthen the policy of inclusivity which is being championed by the President Dr Hage Geingob of making sure that no Namibian will feel left out,’’ said the special advisor to the Governor Bobby Kandjala.
