The president visits in Swakop

The President of Namibia, His Excellency Dr Hage Geingob, had a public meeting with the community members of Swakopmund on the 28th of August.

More than 200 people were present at the meeting. Most community members thought they could ask questions to be answered by the president, but the time was limited so only a few questions were answered and the rest referred to the Governor’s office. The newly elected ministers and the first lady were also present at the meeting. ’’We should be patient as a community we are only six months old.You cannot be happy if your neighbour is poor, we should hold hands and work together to eradicate poverty’’ said Hage Geingob.

The President of Namibia accompanied by His wife and the Minister of Agriculture , Water and Forestry John Mutorwa at a public meeting in Swakopmund.

When asked why the youth does not benefit from ELP’s – Mines and Energy Minister, Obeth Kandjoze said‘’We have exchanged the licenses and rights from the government with material goods and wealth yet we keep coming back to the government. I have to look at how best to promote the rate we discover mines to keep giving more to the national coffers”
