Environmental sustainability development in Swakop

Local organisations specialising in environmental sustainability were last week Saturday given the opportunity to showcase their products to the community of Swakopmund.

Altogether twenty organisations exhibited as part of an initiative by the Swakopmund municipality with the aim of creating awareness under the theme of “environmental sustainability development”.

Paulina Engelbrecht from the Swakopmund municipality concluded the following: ‘’It is the initiative of the municipality to raise awareness of local produced organic product, people are really happy and they are willing to participate’’.
